Nullable.op_Implicit Method

Creates a new Nullable object initialized to a specified value.

Parameters

value

A value type.

Return Value

A Nullable object whose Value property is initialized with the value parameter.

If the value parameter is not a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), the Value property of the new Nullable value is initialized to the value parameter and the HasValue property is initialized to true.

If the value parameter is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), the Value property of the new Nullable value is initialized to the default value, which is the value that is all binary zeroes, and the HasValue property is initialized to false.
