LiveConnectClient.BackgroundUploadAsync(String, Uri, OverwriteOption, String) method

Begins uploading a file from Windows Phone isolated storage to Microsoft OneDrive. [Windows Phone only]

The file upload should continue even if the app that starts the file upload quits or is suspended.

Note  Windows Store apps do not support this method.

Syntax


public BackgroundUploadAsync(
  string path, 
  Uri uploadLocation, 
  OverwriteOption option, 
  string userState
)

Parameters

path

Type: System.String

The folder ID of the folder in OneDrive to upload the file to, for example "folder.8c8ce076ca27823f.8C8CE076CA27823F!142".

uploadLocation

Type: System.Uri

The unique isolated storage path to where the file is to be uploaded from, for example "/shared/transfers/myFile2.txt".

option

Type: OverwriteOption

Specifies whether the file that's being uploaded to OneDrive should overwrite an existing file with the same file name in that location.

userState

Type: System.String

A unique identifier for the file to be uploaded so that info about the file can be accessed in a call to the accompanying BackgroundUploadCompleted event handler, for example "myFile2".
