ContactQueryResult.GetContactsAsync(UInt32, UInt32) method

Retrieves contacts from the contact store given the specified starting index and number of items to return..

Syntax


public IAsyncOperation<IVectorView<StoredContact>> GetContactsAsync(
  uint startIndex, 
  uint maxNumberOfItems
)

Parameters

startIndex

Type: System.UInt32 [.NET] | uint32 [C++]

The index of the first contact to be retrieved.

maxNumberOfItems

Type: System.UInt32 [.NET] | uint32 [C++]

The number of contacts to retrieve.

Return value

Type: IAsyncOperation<IVectorView<StoredContact>>

When this method completes, it returns an IVectorView containing StoredContact objects. If you use Asynchronous programming, the result type is a read-only list/vector of StoredContact items. (You can use APIs of IVectorView<StoredContact> for C++, APIs of IReadOnlyList<StoredContact> for .NET.)
