BackgroundUploader.CreateUploadAsync(Uri, IIterable(BackgroundTransferContentPart), String) | createUploadAsync(Uri, IIterable(BackgroundTransferContentPart), String) method

Returns an asynchronous operation that, on completion, returns an UploadOperation with the specified URI, one or more BackgroundTransferContentPart objects, and the multipart subtype.

Syntax


backgroundUploader.createUploadAsync(uri, parts, subType).done( /* Your success and error handlers */ );

Parameters

uri

Type: Windows.Foundation.Uri [JavaScript] | System.Uri [.NET] | Windows::Foundation::Uri [C++]

The location for the upload.

parts

Type: IIterable<BackgroundTransferContentPart> [JavaScript/C++] | System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<BackgroundTransferContentPart> [.NET]

One or more BackgroundTransferContentPart objects.

subType

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The multipart subtype. For example, "related" for content of type "multipart/related".

Return value

Type: IAsyncOperation<UploadOperation>

The resultant asynchronous UploadOperation.
