responseStart property

The responseStart property must return the time immediately after the user agent receives the first byte of the response from the server, from relevant application caches, or from local resources.

An Integer value that represents the time immediately after the user agent receives the first byte of the response from the server, from relevant application caches, or from local resources.

Remarks

The value reported by the responseStart property represents the number of milliseconds between the recorded time and midnight January 1, 1970 (UTC).

This property is supported only for documents displayed in a Windows Store app using JavaScript. For more information, see Defining Document Compatibility.

Examples

The following example shows how to calculate the time required to receive a response from the hosting server.
