CustomAttributeExtensions::IsDefined Method (Assembly^, Type^)

Indicates whether custom attributes of a specified type are applied to a specified assembly.

Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

Parameters

element
Type: System.Reflection::Assembly^

The assembly to inspect.

attributeType
Type: System::Type^

The type of the attribute to search for.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean

true if an attribute of the specified type is applied to element; otherwise, false.

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

element or attributeType is null.

ArgumentException

attributeType is not derived from Attribute.
