UnitConverter.ConvertTo Method (ITypeDescriptorContext, CultureInfo, Object, Type)


This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Performs type conversion to the specified destination type given the specified context, object and argument list.

Namespace:   System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

	ITypeDescriptorContext context,
	CultureInfo culture,

	Type destinationType


Type: System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext

An ITypeDescriptorContext instance that indicates the context of the object to convert.

Type: System.Globalization.CultureInfo

A System.Globalization.CultureInfo object that represents information about a culture such as language, calendar system, and so on. This parameter is not used in this method. It is reserved for future versions of this method. You can optionally pass null for this parameter.

Type: System.Object

The object to convert.

Type: System.Type

The type to convert to.

Return Value

Type: System.Object

The object resulting from conversion.
