System_CAPS_noteNote

The .NET API Reference documentation has a new home. Visit the .NET API Browser on docs.microsoft.com to see the new experience.

This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Indicates whether this object supports a standard set of values that can be picked from a list using the specified context.

Namespace:   System.Diagnostics.Design
Assembly:  System.Design (in System.Design.dll)

public override bool GetStandardValuesSupported(
	ITypeDescriptorContext context
)

Parameters

context
Type: System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext

An ITypeDescriptorContext that provides a format context.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean

true because GetStandardValues should be called to find a common set of values the object supports. This method never returns false.

The context parameter can be used to extract additional information about the environment this converter is being invoked from. This can be null, so always check. Also, properties on the context object can return null.
