Convert::ToUInt16 Method (Int16)

 

Converts the value of the specified 16-bit signed integer to the equivalent 16-bit unsigned integer.

This API is not CLS-compliant.

Parameters

value
Type: System::Int16

The 16-bit signed integer to convert.

Return Value

Type: System::UInt16

A 16-bit unsigned integer that is equivalent to value.

Exception Condition
OverflowException

value is less than zero.

The following example attempts to convert each element in a 16-bit integer array to an unsigned 16-bit integer.
