NavBarContainer.layout property

[NavBarContainer is no longer available for use as of Windows Library for JavaScript (WinJS) 4.2. Instead, use SplitViewCommand. ]
Gets or sets a value that specifies whether the NavBarContainer has a horizontal or vertical layout.
Syntax

var layout = navBarContainer.layout;
navBarContainer.layout = layout;
Property value
Type: WinJS.UI.Orientation
One of the values defined by the Orientation enumeration. The default value is horizontal.
Remarks
The horizontal layout uses pagination to handle overflow. The vertical layout uses a max-height CSS setting and vertical scrolling to handle overflow.
