[ This article is for Windows Phone 8 developers. If you’re developing for Windows 10, see the latest documentation. ]
Gets the value of the current Tuple(Of T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6) object's second component.
Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)
Property Value
Type: T2The value of the current Tuple(Of T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6) object's second component.
You can dynamically determine the type of the Item2 component in one of two ways:
By calling the GetType method on the value that is returned by the Item2 property.
By retrieving the Type object that represents the Tuple(Of T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6) object, and retrieving the first element from the array that is returned by its Type.GetGenericArguments method.
The following example defines an array of Tuple(Of T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6) objects whose components contain population data for three U.S. cities (New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles) from 1960 through 2000. It then displays a table that lists the data. To display the population in 1960, it retrieves the value of the Item2 property for each Tuple(Of T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6) object.
