BigInteger::GreaterThanOrEqual Operator (UInt64, BigInteger)

equivalentCodeEntityM:System.Numerics.BigInteger.CompareTo(System.UInt64)

Returns a value that indicates whether a 64-bit unsigned integer is greater than or equal to a BigInteger value.

This API is not CLS-compliant.

Namespace:   System.Numerics
Assembly:  System.Numerics (in System.Numerics.dll)

public:
static bool operator >=(
	unsigned long long left,
	BigInteger right
)

Parameters

left
Type: System::UInt64

The first value to compare.

right
Type: System.Numerics::BigInteger

The second value to compare.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean

true if left is greater than right; otherwise, false.

The GreaterThanOrEqual method defines the operation of the greater than or equal to operator for BigInteger values. It enables code such as the following:

No code example is currently available or this language may not be supported.

Languages that do not support custom operators can call the BigInteger::CompareTo(UInt64) method instead. Some languages can also call the GreaterThanOrEqual(UInt64, BigInteger) method directly, as the following example shows.

Dim bigNumber As BigInteger = BigInteger.Pow(Int32.MaxValue, 2)
Dim number As ULong = UInt64.MaxValue
If BigInteger.op_GreaterThanOrEqual(number, bigNumber) Then
   ' Do something
End If
