Removes the first occurrence of a specific object from the ICollection(Of T). This implementation always throws a NotSupportedException.

Parameters

item
Type: TKey
The object to remove from the ICollection(Of T).

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if item is successfully removed from the ICollection(Of T); otherwise, false. This method also returns false if item is not found in the ICollection(Of T).

Always thrown; the collection is read-only.

Implementations can vary in how they determine equality of objects; for example, List(Of T) uses Comparer(Of T).Default, whereas SortedDictionary(Of TKey, TValue) allows the user to specify the IComparer(Of T) implementation to use for comparing keys.
