ID3DXEffectStateManager::SetRenderState method

A callback function that must be implemented by a user to set render state.

Syntax


HRESULT SetRenderState(
  [in] D3DRENDERSTATETYPE State,
  [in] DWORD              Value
);

Parameters

State [in]

Type: D3DRENDERSTATETYPE

The render state to set. D3DRENDERSTATETYPE

Value [in]

Type: DWORD

The render state value. See Effect States (Direct3D 9).

Return value

Type: HRESULT

The user-implemented method should return S_OK. If the callback fails when setting the device state, either of the following will occur:
