ImageFormatConverter.CanConvertFrom Method (ITypeDescriptorContext, Type)

 

Indicates whether this converter can convert an object in the specified source type to the native type of the converter.

	ITypeDescriptorContext context,
	Type sourceType
)

Parameters

context
Type: System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext

A formatter context. This object can be used to get more information about the environment this converter is being called from. This may be null, so you should always check. Also, properties on the context object may also return null.

sourceType
Type: System.Type

The type you want to convert from.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean

This method returns true if this object can perform the conversion.

The ImageFormatConverter converts to and from known image formats, as specified in the ImageFormat class.
