XmlDocument::CreateNavigator Method (XmlNode^)

 

Creates an XPathNavigator object for navigating this document positioned on the XmlNode specified.

Namespace:   System.Xml
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)

virtual XPathNavigator^ CreateNavigator(
	XmlNode^ node
)

Parameters

node
Type: System.Xml::XmlNode^

The XmlNode you want the navigator initially positioned on.

Return Value

Type: System.Xml.XPath::XPathNavigator^

An XPathNavigator object.

This method is a Microsoft extension to the Document Object Model (DOM).
