LinkedList<T>::Find Method (T)

 

Finds the first node that contains the specified value.

Namespace:   System.Collections.Generic
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

LinkedListNode<T>^ Find(
	T value
)

Parameters

value
Type: T

The value to locate in the LinkedList<T>.

Return Value

Type: System.Collections.Generic::LinkedListNode<T>^

The first LinkedListNode<T> that contains the specified value, if found; otherwise, null.

The LinkedList<T> is searched forward starting at First and ending at Last.

This method performs a linear search; therefore, this method is an O(n) operation, where n is Count.
