XmlReader::Item Property (Int32)

 

When overridden in a derived class, gets the value of the attribute with the specified index.

Namespace:   System.Xml
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)

Parameters

i
Type: System::Int32

The index of the attribute.

Property Value

Type: System::String^

The value of the specified attribute.

Exception Condition
InvalidOperationException

An XmlReader method was called before a previous asynchronous operation finished. In this case, InvalidOperationException is thrown with the message “An asynchronous operation is already in progress.”

This property does not move the reader.

The following example displays all attributes on the current node.
