TypeConverter.GetStandardValuesSupported Method (ITypeDescriptorContext)

Returns whether this object supports a standard set of values that can be picked from a list, using the specified context.

Namespace:   System.ComponentModel
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

public virtual bool GetStandardValuesSupported(
	ITypeDescriptorContext context
)

Parameters

context
Type: System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext

An ITypeDescriptorContext that provides a format context.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean

true if GetStandardValues should be called to find a common set of values the object supports; otherwise, false.

As implemented in this class, this method always returns false.

Use the context parameter to extract additional information about the environment from which this converter is invoked. This parameter can be null, so always check it. Also, properties on the context object can return null.

Notes to Inheritors:

Override this method if the type you want to convert supports standard values.
