XmlAttributeCollection::ItemOf Property (String^)

 

Gets the attribute with the specified name.

Namespace:   System.Xml
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)

property XmlAttribute^ default[
	String^ name
] {
	XmlAttribute^ get(String^ name);
}

Parameters

name
Type: System::String^

The qualified name of the attribute.

Property Value

Type: System.Xml::XmlAttribute^

The XmlAttribute with the specified name. If the attribute does not exist, this property returns null.

This property is a Microsoft extension to the Document Object Model (DOM). It is equivalent to calling GetNamedItem.

The following example removes an attribute from the document.
