IStorageFolder.GetFilesAsync method

Gets the files from the current folder.

Syntax


IAsyncOperation<IReadOnlyList> GetFilesAsync()

Parameters

This method has no parameters.

Return value

Type: IAsyncOperation<IVectorView>

When this method completes successfully, it returns a list of the files (type IVectorView) in the folder. Each file in the list is represented by a StorageFile object.

Remarks

If you simply want to get files in your app, see the GetFilesAsync methods of the StorageFolder class.
