ListView.HitTest Method (Point)

Provides item information, given a point.

public ListViewHitTestInfo HitTest(
	Point point
)

Parameters

point
Type: System.Drawing.Point

The Point at which to retrieve the item information. The coordinates are relative to the upper-left corner of the control.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentOutOfRangeException

The point contains coordinates that are less than 0.

Use this method to determine if a point is in an item or subitem and where within the item the point is located, such as on the label or image area.
