Represents the shared-connection version of the WorkflowCommitWorkBatchService service used by the runtime. In this context, shared-connection means that the service uses the same SQL connection for both the tracking and persistence services.
Assembly: System.Workflow.Runtime (in System.Workflow.Runtime.dll)
Thetype exposes the following members.
|SharedConnectionWorkflowCommitWorkBatchService(NameValueCollection)||Initializes a class.|
|SharedConnectionWorkflowCommitWorkBatchService(String)||Initializes a class using a database connection string.|
|CommitWorkBatch||Creates a transaction if one does not exist. (Overrides WorkflowCommitWorkBatchService.CommitWorkBatch(WorkflowCommitWorkBatchService.CommitWorkBatchCallback).)|
|Equals(Object)||Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)|
|Finalize||Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.)|
|GetHashCode||Serves as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.)|
|GetType||Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)|
|MemberwiseClone||Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)|
|OnStarted||When overridden in a derived class, represents the method that will be called when the workflow runtime engine raises the WorkflowRuntime.Started event. (Inherited from WorkflowRuntimeService.)|
|OnStopped||Represents the method called when the workflow runtime raises the Stopped event. (Overrides WorkflowRuntimeService.OnStopped().)|
|RaiseServicesExceptionNotHandledEvent||Raises the WorkflowRuntime.ServicesExceptionNotHandled event. (Inherited from WorkflowRuntimeService.)|
|Start||Represents the method called to start the service. (Overrides WorkflowRuntimeService.Start().)|
|Stop||When overridden in a derived class, stops the service and changes the State to Stopping. (Inherited from WorkflowRuntimeService.)|
|ToString||Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.)|
The service is used for database transactions that use a shared connection between different objects. To use the instead of the DefaultWorkflowCommitWorkBatchService in your WorkflowRuntime instance, use the AddService method.
If the SQL server used by the is down such as that caused by SQL cluster failovers or intermittent network issues, the will retry the commit process up to 20 times before raising a ServicesExceptionNotHandled event.
