KeyEventArgs.Modifiers Property

Gets the modifier flags for a KeyDown or KeyUp event. The flags indicate which combination of CTRL, SHIFT, and ALT keys was pressed.

Property Value

Type: System.Windows.Forms.Keys
A Keys value representing one or more modifier flags.

To determine whether a specific modifier key was pressed, use the Control, Shift, and Alt properties. Modifier flags can be combined with bitwise OR.

The following code example shows how to use the Modifiers property to determine which modifier keys were pressed along with the primary key.
