TreeViewItem.IsItemItsOwnContainerOverride Method

Determines whether an object is a TreeViewItem.

protected override bool IsItemItsOwnContainerOverride(
	Object item
)

Parameters

item
Type: System.Object
The object to evaluate.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if item is a TreeViewItem; otherwise, false.

If you create a custom item container, which you return from the GetContainerForItemOverride method, you should also override this method and return whether item is the custom item container type.
