Repeater.ItemCreated Event

Occurs when an item is created in the Repeater control.

[Visual Basic]
Public Event ItemCreated As RepeaterItemEventHandler
[C#]
public event RepeaterItemEventHandler ItemCreated;
[C++]
public: __event RepeaterItemEventHandler* ItemCreated;

[JScript] In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.

Event Data

The event handler receives an argument of type RepeaterItemEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following RepeaterItemEventArgs property provides information specific to this event.

Property Description
Item Gets the RepeaterItem associated with the event.

Remarks

This event is raised when an item is created in the Repeater.

For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.

Example

[Visual Basic, C#] The following example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the ItemCreated event of the Repeater. A new line of text indicating the item type is displayed whenever a Repeater item is created.
