_Exception.ToString Method

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the Exception.ToString method.

This method is not CLS-compliant.

Return Value

A string that represents the current System.Exception object.

This method is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code and should not be called from managed code.

The Exception.ToString method creates and returns a string representation of the current exception.
