Debugger.Launch Method

Launches and attaches a debugger to the process.

Public Shared Function Launch() As Boolean
public static bool Launch();
public: static bool Launch();
public static function Launch() : Boolean;

Return Value

true if the startup is successful or if the debugger is already attached; otherwise, false.


Exception Type Condition
SecurityException The System.Security.Permissions.UIPermission is not set to start the debugger.


If a debugger is already attached, nothing happens.
