How to: Add Tests to a Load Test Scenario

A load test contains one or more scenarios, each of which contains one or more Web or unit tests. The tests included in a scenario should reflect the objectives of that scenario.

Adding New Tests to a Scenario

When you create a new scenario, or when you adjust an existing scenario, you might want to add new tests to the scenario.

To add new tests to a scenario

  1. While in the process of specifying the test mix for a scenario, click Add.

    -or -

Right-click an existing scenario and then click Add Tests.

The Add Tests dialog box is displayed. All the Web and unit tests in your solution that are not already in your scenario are available to add to the scenario.

  2. In the Available tests pane, select the tests you want to add. Click the right arrow to add the tests to the Selected tests pane.

  3. When you are finished adding tests, click OK.

The tests are added to the test mix. A new distribution is assigned automatically to the tests in the test mix.
