Logs an error message or warning from the given stream.

Parameters

stream
Type: System.IO.TextReader

A TextReader that reads the stream to log from.

messageImportance
Type: Microsoft.Build.Framework.MessageImportance

One of the values of MessageImportance that indicates the importance level of the command line.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if an error was logged; otherwise, false.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentNullException	stream is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

This method is not thread-safe.
