Message.CreateMessage Method (MessageVersion, FaultCode, String, Object, String)

Creates a message that contains a SOAP fault, a reason and the detail for the fault, version and action.

Parameters

version
Type: System.ServiceModel.Channels.MessageVersion

A MessageVersion object that specifies the SOAP version to use for the message.

faultCode
Type: System.ServiceModel.FaultCode

A MessageFault object that represents a SOAP fault.

reason
Type: System.String

The reason of the SOAP fault.

detail
Type: System.Object

The details of the SOAP fault.

action
Type: System.String

A description of how the message should be processed.

Return Value

Type: System.ServiceModel.Channels.Message
A Message object for the message created.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

version, fault, action, detail or faultCode is null.

This static method is used to create a new copy of message ready for sending.
