CustomAttributeExtensions::IsDefined Method (ParameterInfo, Type)

Indicates whether custom attributes of a specified type are applied to a specified parameter.

Parameters

element
Type: System.Reflection::ParameterInfo

The parameter to inspect.

attributeType
Type: System::Type

The type of attribute to search for.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean
true if an attribute of the specified type is applied to element; otherwise, false.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type ParameterInfo. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

ArgumentNullException

element or attributeType is nullptr.

ArgumentException

attributeType is not derived from Attribute.
