Converts the given object to a Unicode character object.

Parameters

context
Type: System.ComponentModel::ITypeDescriptorContext^

An ITypeDescriptorContext that provides a format context.

culture
Type: System.Globalization::CultureInfo^

The culture into which value will be converted.

value
Type: System::Object^

The Object to convert.

Return Value

Type: System::Object^

An Object that represents the converted value.

Exception Condition
FormatException

value is not a valid value for the target type.

NotSupportedException

The conversion cannot be performed.

This converter can only convert a string, with a length of 1, to and from a character.

The context parameter can be used to extract additional information about the environment this converter is being invoked from. This can be null, so always check. Also, properties on the context object can return null.
