lineSetCallBarringState

Use the lineSetCallBarringState function to set call barring of media modes for a given call-barring mode.

Syntax

LONG WINAPI lineSetCallBarringState(
  HLINE hLine,
  DWORD dwMode,
  DWORD dwClasses,
  LPCTSTR lpszPassword
);

Parameters

  • hLine
    The line device handle. The line device handle must have been previously obtained by a call to lineOpen with the proper TAPI device ID specified and a device-specific extension version successfully negotiated with lineNegotiateExtVersion.
  • dwMode
    Indicates which barring mode the application needs to set.
  • dwClasses
    Indicates which line capability classes to bar. See the Line Capability Classes constants for possible values.
  • lpszPassword
    A password may be necessary to set the current barring status.

Return Value

Returns a positive request identifier if the function is completed asynchronously, or a negative error number if an error occurs. The dwParam2 parameter of the corresponding LINE_REPLY message is zero if the function succeeds or it is a negative error number if an error occurs. The following are possible return values:

Remarks

Not implemented for CDMA.

This is a privileged function.
