Jim Boyce has authored and co-authored more than 45 books about computer software and hardware and is a frequent contributor to http://www.winmag.com, http://www.techrepublic.com, http://www.officelterr.com, and other technical publications. He has been involved with computers since the late seventies as a programmer and systems manager in a variety of capacities. He has a wide range of experience in the DOS, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows NT, Windows 2000, and UNIX environments. In addition to a full-time writing career, Jim is a founding partner and Vice President of Minnesota Webworks, a Midwest-based Web development firm (http://www.mnww.com).

Thomas Rizzo is a group product manager with the Microsoft SQL Server product team. For five years, he worked in the Microsoft Exchange group, where he focused on building customer confidence and productivity with the platform. Tom has also served as a Microsoft system engineer and wrote the first two editions of this popular book.
