Unloading and Reloading Projects
You can make projects temporarily unavailable within a solution, and then restore these projects to available status.
Tip You can use Project Unload as a quick way to conceal a single project from a build process.
To unload projects from a solution
- In Solution Explorer, select a project that you want to unload from the active solution.
- On the Project menu, choose Unload Project.
The project is now marked (unavailable).
To reload projects into a solution
- In Solution Explorer, select a project in the active solution that is marked (unavailable).
- On the Project menu, choose Reload Project.
Now, the project is available for editing and inclusion in configuration and build processes.
