CheckBoxList::FindControl Method (String, Int32)

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Searches the current naming container for a server control with the specified ID and path offset. The FindControl method always returns the CheckBoxList object.

Parameters

id
Type: System::String

The identifier for the control to find.

pathOffset
Type: System::Int32

The number of controls up the page control hierarchy needed to reach a naming container.

Return Value

Type: System.Web.UI::Control
The current CheckBoxList.

The FindControl method is used primarily by control developers, when deriving a custom control from the CheckBoxList class.

The FindControl method overrides the FindControl method of the base Control class. You should not override this version of the FindControl method.
