XPathItem.ValueAsDouble Property

When overridden in a derived class, gets the item's value as a Double.

Property Value

Type: System.Double
The item's value as a Double.

ExceptionCondition
FormatException

The item's value is not in the correct format for the Double type.

InvalidCastException

The attempted cast to Double is not valid.

OverflowException

The attempted cast resulted in an overflow.

The ValueAsDouble property attempts to convert the value of the item to the .NET Framework version 2.0 Double type according to the XPath 2.0 rules for casting the item's type.
