XmlWriter.WriteEntityRef Method

When overridden in a derived class, writes out an entity reference as &name;.

Parameters

name
The name of the entity reference.

Exceptions

Exception Type Condition
ArgumentException name is either a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) or String.Empty.
