ExceptionCondition

Setting this property after a read operation has occurred (ReadState is not ReadState.Initial).

NoteNote:

In the .NET Framework version 2.0 release, the recommended practice is to create XmlReader instances using the XmlReader.Create method. This allows you to take full advantage of the new features introduced in this release. For more information, see Creating XML Readers.

This property determines whether the reader supports the W3C Namespaces in XML recommendation located at www.w3.org/TR/REC-xml-names.

The Namespaces property cannot be set after a read operation has occurred.
