XmlReader::NamespaceURI Property

When overridden in a derived class, gets the namespace URI (as defined in the W3C Namespace specification) of the node on which the reader is positioned.

Type: System::String^The namespace URI of the current node; otherwise an empty string.

| InvalidOperationException | An XmlReader method was called before a previous asynchronous operation finished. In this case, InvalidOperationException is thrown with the message “An asynchronous operation is already in progress.” |
This property is relevant to Element and Attribute nodes only.
The following example displays the local name of each node, and, if they exist, the prefix and namespace URI.
The example uses the file, book2.xml, as input.
