XmlSerializationReader.CollectionFixup Class

Use BaseTrue

Holds an XmlSerializationCollectionFixupCallback delegate instance, plus the method's inputs; also supplies the method's parameters.

Namespace:   System.Xml.Serialization
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)

protected class CollectionFixup

System_CAPS_pubmethodXmlSerializationReader.CollectionFixup(Object, XmlSerializationCollectionFixupCallback, Object)

Initializes a new instance of the XmlSerializationReader.CollectionFixup class with parameters for a callback method.

Gets the callback method that instantiates the XmlSerializationCollectionFixupCallback delegate.

Gets the object collection for the callback method.

Gets the array into which the callback method copies a collection.

Determines whether the specified object is equal to the current object.(Inherited from Object.)

Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection.(Inherited from Object.)

Serves as the default hash function. (Inherited from Object.)

Gets the Type of the current instance.(Inherited from Object.)

Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.(Inherited from Object.)

Returns a string that represents the current object.(Inherited from Object.)

During initialization, the .NET Framework XML serialization infrastructure dynamically generates and compiles a temporary class for deserialization derived from the XmlSerializationReader class. During this process, the infrastructure generates methods that implement the XmlSerializationCollectionFixupCallback delegate. Additionally, it instantiates XmlSerializationReader.CollectionFixup class objects to store the fix-up methods along with their inputs. The infrastructure does so for SOAP-encoded arrays or SOAP-encoded, multireferenced elements whose data types, in either case, map to .NET Framework collections or enumerations. Then, as necessary, the methods are invoked during deserialization to fill in array items or multireferenced objects.

Do not directly instantiate XmlSerializationCollectionFixupCallback or XmlSerializationReader.CollectionFixup.

SOAP encoding is described in Section 5 of the SOAP 1.1 specification.
