DependencyObject.SetValueBase Method

Namespace: System.Workflow.ComponentModel
Assembly: System.Workflow.ComponentModel (in system.workflow.componentmodel.dll)

public void SetValueBase (
	DependencyProperty dependencyProperty,
	Object value
public void SetValueBase (
	DependencyProperty dependencyProperty,
	Object value
public function SetValueBase (
	dependencyProperty : DependencyProperty,
	value : Object
Not applicable.

The DependencyProperty to be set to the Object.

The Object that becomes the value of the DependencyProperty.

Exception typeCondition

dependencyProperty is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

This method is useful inside the SetValue override implementation. Typically the SetValue override code would do some custom logic before calling the SetValueBase method.

For setting a SetValue override, PropertyMetadata can be used in DependencyProperty, Register, orRegisterAttached calls.
