Activity.Canceling Event

Occurs when the activity execution is canceled.

Namespace:  System.Workflow.ComponentModel
Assembly:  System.Workflow.ComponentModel (in System.Workflow.ComponentModel.dll)

[BrowsableAttribute(false)]
public event EventHandler<ActivityExecutionStatusChangedEventArgs> Canceling

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The Cancel method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class. For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding Canceling in a derived class, make sure to call the base class Cancel method so that registered delegates receive the event.
