RuleSetChangeAction Class

Represents an abstract base class from which all dynamic update notifications of changes to a RuleSet must be derived. This class cannot be inherited.

Namespace:  System.Workflow.Activities.Rules
Assembly:  System.Workflow.Activities (in System.Workflow.Activities.dll)

public abstract class RuleSetChangeAction : WorkflowChangeAction

The RuleSetChangeAction type exposes the following members.

Protected methodRuleSetChangeActionWhen implemented in a derived class, initializes a new instance of the RuleSetChangeAction class.

Public propertyRuleSetNameWhen overridden in a derived class, gets the name of the RuleSet to be changed.

Protected methodApplyToWhen overridden in a derived class, applies the changes to the root Activity. (Inherited from WorkflowChangeAction.)
Public methodEquals(Object)Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Protected methodFinalizeAllows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.)
Public methodGetHashCodeServes as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.)
Public methodGetTypeGets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)
Protected methodMemberwiseCloneCreates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Public methodToStringReturns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.)
Protected methodValidateChangesWhen overridden in a derived class, verifies that the RuleSet is configured correctly and has no errors. (Overrides WorkflowChangeAction.ValidateChanges(Activity).)

This class can be used by a tracking service to determine that a RuleSet has been dynamically updated. The derived classes indicate which RuleSet is being dynamically updated, and what operation is being performed (added to the workflow, removed from the workflow, or changed).
