VisualStateManager.CustomVisualStateManager Attached Property

Gets or sets the VisualStateManager object that transitions between the states of a control.

Namespace:  System.Windows
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)

See GetCustomVisualStateManager, SetCustomVisualStateManager
<object VisualStateManager.CustomVisualStateManager="VisualStateManager" .../>

Property Value

Type: System.Windows.VisualStateManager
The visual state manager that transitions between the states of a control. The default is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

If CustomVisualStateManager is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), the VisualStateManager uses its own logic to transition between states. If you want to implement your own logic for transitioning between states, create a class that inherits from VisualStateManager and override the GoToStateCore method. To use the custom class, set the CustomVisualStateManager property to an object of your custom type.
