VectorConverter Class

Converts instances of other types to and from a Vector.

Namespace:  System.Windows
Assembly:  WindowsBase (in WindowsBase.dll)

public sealed class VectorConverter : TypeConverter
<VectorConverter .../>

The following example uses a VectorConverter to convert a string into a Vector.

private Vector vectorConverterExample()
    VectorConverter vConverter = new VectorConverter();
    Vector vectorResult = new Vector();
    string string1 = "10,20";

    vectorResult = (Vector)vConverter.ConvertFromString(string1);
    // vectorResult is equal to (10, 20) 

    return vectorResult;


Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
