UIElement::PreviewGiveFeedback Event

Occurs when a drag-and-drop operation is started.

Namespace:   System.Windows
Assembly:  PresentationCore (in PresentationCore.dll)

public:
event GiveFeedbackEventHandler^ PreviewGiveFeedback {
	void add(GiveFeedbackEventHandler^ value);
	void remove(GiveFeedbackEventHandler^ value);
}

The PreviewGiveFeedback event enables the source of a drag event to modify the appearance of the mouse pointer, in order to give the user visual feedback during a drag-and-drop operation.

This event creates an alias for the DragDrop::PreviewGiveFeedback attached event for this class, so that PreviewGiveFeedback is part of the class members list when UIElement is inherited as a base element. Event handlers that are attached to the PreviewGiveFeedback event are attached to the underlying DragDrop::PreviewGiveFeedback attached event and receive the same event data instance.
