MediaPlayer.Position Property

Gets or sets the current position of the media.

Not typically used in XAML.

Property Value

Type: System.TimeSpan
The current position of the media.

If the player has an associated Clock, setting Position will throw an InvalidOperationException. Position cannot be set while the timing engine drives media playback.

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
