Vector3D.Parse Method

Converts a String representation of a 3-D vector into the equivalent Vector3D structure.

Parameters

source
Type: System.String
The String representation of the 3-D vector.

Return Value

Type: System.Windows.Media.Media3D.Vector3D
The equivalent Vector3D structure.

The following example shows how to use the Parse method to convert a string representation of a vector3D into a Vector3D structure.


// Converts a string representation of a vector into a Vector3D structure

Vector3D vectorResult = new Vector3D();

vectorResult = Vector3D.Parse("1,3,5");
// vectorResult is equal to (1, 3, 5)
